So, nothing happened the other day. Currently the baby is making Yvonne's life miserable by testing the boundaries of her womb and finding them most confining. Soon, though, she will have a very large world to grow bigger in. Let's hope she doesn't try to grow to fill it.
Continuing in my bad father roll, I went out to the local IGDA meeting tonight. I hadn't been to one in a long time and some friends of mine were going to be there that I haven't seen since May. It was fun to catch up and see just how many other people are having/had babies. On the positive side, not one of them regrets being a father and they tell me I will love being a dad. They also told me the first few weeks of sleep deprivation will make you hallucinate, so at least I have that to look forward to.

- Chris Stoy has over a decade of experience in the gaming industry as a software engineer. He was a co-founder of Sinister Games, where he helped develop their first title, "Shadow Company: Left For Dead." Chris was also the lead on new technology development for their first Xbox game. He spent the next few years at Red Storm Entertainment where he was responsible for the multiplayer gameplay programming and tools development on "Rainbox Six: Lockdown". Chris was also lead developer and architect on new tools development utilizing the Microsoft .NET Framework. Recently, he was Lead Gameplay Engineer at Atomic Games in Raleigh, NC working on "Six Days in Fallujah". Currently, he is a co-founder of Mad Monkey Militia and working on their first iPhone game. Outside of work, Chris was a member of the Raleigh IGDA advisory board and holds a Second Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is also embarked on the greatest adventure of his life: being a dad.
